A Year of Change - 2009

A New Year is a time to reflect on the events of the past, recharge, regroup and plan for the future. Last year was certainly an eventful one for most with many predictions and forecasts now calling for a year of change ahead. This past year at Sayward Hill brought continued sales and construction activity with the completion of the two final Terrace buildings ~ 748 & 758 Sayward Hill Terrace. Despite the economic situation, it has been business as usual at Sayward Hill with our construction crew and sales team busy through the unusual winter weather to ensure our newest residents at 758 Sayward Hill Terrace were able to enjoy the holiday season and their new lifestyle from the comforts of their new homes.

Get to Know Randi Masters

Randi is a native to Victoria who has been selling real estate with her company, Newport Realty Ltd., since 1988. Presently, she is a current Director and the President-Elect for the year 2010 of the Victoria Real Estate Board. For many years, Randi has been representing both condominium buyers and sellers in Mattick’s Green, homeowners in Mattick’s Wood and condominium and townhouse owners in Sayward Hill. Cordova BayIn listening to our Cordova Bay members, we have learned that not everyone had the kind of summer they had envisioned for their golf games. Some of you even have a few golf related issues that are bugging you. Accordingly, we developed a unique program called the SUPER ASSESSMENT.

This professional assessment is done in one comprehensive session with one of our Canadian PGA certified golf coaches. We take a detailed look at the influences on your golf game using state of the art technology. We also provide our expert opinion on where your game is now as well as where we believe you can take it in the future.

Your personalized SUPER ASSESSMENT is a 75-minute one-on-one session with your professional, a blank slate that may include:

  • Video analysis of your swing
  • Club-fitting/Testing
  • Laser measurement of your putting alignment
  • Professional input as to focus your energy as to improve quickly
  • Equipment advice as to set make-up
  • All inclusive weighing and precise measurement of each club in your golf bag
  • Advice for those nasty bunkers
  • Chipping help
  • Ideas on how to control trajectory and distance on your pitch shots
  • Proven cures for your slices/ hooks

What's Happening at Selkirk Waterfront Community

ARC BUILDING EARNS FIRST ISLAND-WIDE BOMA GO GREEN PLUS ACCREDITATION

BOMA BestThe Arc Building, 2955/57 Jutland Road, in the Selkirk Waterfront Project, was officially certified by the Building Owners and Managers Association of British Columbia as a Go Green Plus building. Arc is the only building on Vancouver Island to hold the title. Go Green Plus recognizes the efforts of the building owners, management and tenants to minimize the environmental impact of the building. Go Green Plus certification requires building management to follow environmental best practices in the areas of energy and water conservation, waste reduction, emissions control, indoor environment and environmental management.

Congratulations to all the tenants, trades and consultants who made this possible!
